Jeannie Thomas began teaching children about the fun of learning after she graduated from Towson University in 1993 with her degree in elementary education. Jeannie went on to receive her master's degree in education from Loyola College in MD in 2002.
Jeannie worked for seven years as a second grade teacher in Harford County, MD. She enjoyed teaching children about many different things. It was always important to her to fill the school days with hands-on learning experiences.
Jeannie has traveled throughout Maryland entertaining groups with wacky science experiments that keep audiences' eyes glued and anticipating her next wonder.
Extreme Jean has brought her shows to camps, daycares, homes, schools and events. Jeannie loves when the kids join in the action during the shows. At the end of each show, she asks "Did you guys have fun?" and they always respond with a loud, "YES!"
